Every month we like to look at our top 10 most subscribed comics. We look at the trends, the surprises, and see if anything has changed, and if it has, we like to explore the reasons why.

Generally speaking our top 10 is pretty steady month over month, we had the same number of titles on the board (16 both months), with one title bumping another.

Here’s the list for October 2016

  1. Batman
  2. Detective Comics
  3. Amazing Spider-ManStar Wars (tie)
  4. Justice League
  5. Superman
  6. Suicide Squad, Darth Vader (tie)
  7. Flash
  8. All Star BatmanWonder Woman (tie)
  9. Trinity, Uncanny X-Men (tie)
  10. Action ComicsDark Knight III The Master RaceInvincible Iron Man (tie)

Compare that to September’s top 10.

  1. Batman
  2. Detective Comics, Amazing Spider-Man (tie)
  3. Justice League, Star Wars (tie)
  4. Superman
  5. Suicide Squad, Darth Vader (tie)
  6. Flash
  7. Wonder Woman
  8. All Star Batman, Uncanny X-Men (tie)
  9. Action Comics, Invincible Iron Man (tie)
  10. Trinity, Daredevil (tie)

The only real significant change saw Dark Knight III bump Daredevil out of the top 10 (Daredevil drops to the #13 spot).

Rounding out the top 20, both Doctor Strange and Harley Quinn have seen continued strength, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see either in the top 10 soon.  Saga made an impressive rebound recently, and is now tied for #13 due in large part to the new story arc.

Teen Titans is seeing some strong sales, as are the Han Solo title, Batgirl, All New X-Men, and Civil War II.
